United States mayors endorse plant-based diet to address climate change and health issues.

At the 91st annual US Conference of Mayors, over 1,400 mayors rallied behind a resolution backing the plant-based diet. This diet centers on a “plant-predominant eating pattern” with whole, minimally processed foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and legumes.
